I purchased this scale after much research into digital kitchen scales. I had another Soehnle digital scale for about 10 years. It worked great, until I knocked it off the counter and it fell apart on the floor. It still worked, sometimes, but it was time to replace it. This scale is great looking, takes up very little space in my kitchen, and is very accurate. I like the fact that it is flat, with a large enough surface to weigh anything I need to weigh. I also like the fact that you can change from grams to lbs/ounces on the front. I highly recommend this scale!
